Design-led Outdoor Furniture

Akula embraces creativity and enjoys working with designers to realise their concepts. A designer’s brief is often a blend of designing on trend furniture with a wow factor that is adaptable, requires no assembly and makes the best use of space. In addition, tight timescales and set budgets add another challenging dimension. These are the type of briefs that Akula thrive on.

Marine Grade Materials

Outdoor furniture is constantly exposed to the elements which can be destructive to fabrics and materials. We use marine grade materials in all our outdoor furniture. This cruise industry recognised term refers to materials that are more resistant to the corrosive nature of the harsh and aggressive marine environment. Our furniture can withstand prolonged contact with salt water, rain, heat, UV light, chlorinated water which normally would cause fading and damage. Akula delivers Marine grade as standard.

Vertical Factory

Akula are specialists in the contract market primarily due to our seamless in-house design, manufacture, delivery and aftersales service. Our product development stage involves product prototyping so that our clients can experience their product before the full manufacturing process begins. In addition to this, every stage of manufacturing is managed so expectations are met and deadlines reached on time and on budget. This vertical alignment service allows us to guarantee quality and makes us the chosen supplier to many of the world's most renowned cruise lines.
